Last year, Treasury Board Ministers approved the implementation, on a permanent basis, of the IRP, effective April 1, 2003. This program was approved for the Canadian Forces, the RCMP and sections of the Public Service (PSIRP). The Treasury Board Secretariat continues to act as the Project Authority (Program Manager) for the organizations involved.

L'an dernier, les ministres du Conseil du Trésor ont approuvé la mise en œuvre, de façon permanente du PRI, prenant effet le 1er avril 2003. Ce programme a été approuvé pour les Forces canadiennes, la GRC et certains éléments de la fonction publique (PRIFP). Le Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor continue d'agir à titre de chargé de projet (gestionnaire de programme) pour les organisations en cause.

The Integrated Relocation Program (IRP) is a unique program that employs a contracted agency to provide government entities, which include; Federal employees under the National Joint Council (NJC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) members, with flexibility and assistance to relocate Members/Employees (M/E) to new work locations in response to operational requirement.
